HISTORY
The old spa was located in the Fuente de los Baños area and its techniques were very different from those used today. At that time, a doctor was in charge of controlling the spa and told the sick how much water they should drink or for how long should they take a bath.
TECHNIQUES AND INSTALLATIONS
The Montanejos Spa has a large central area, with views of the idyllic landscape, where the thermal pool, foot bath, contrast showers and a jacuzzi are located. It also has a vaporarium with essence and the pressure jet area, next to the hydromassage baths. On the lower floor, there are the hydromassage showers and air beds.
The thermal treatments offered combine the medical-therapeutic character that made the waters of Montanejos famous with the new way of understanding thermalism, focused on relaxation, disconnection and well-being. On the one hand, there are different techniques focused on rheumatological treatment, taking advantage of the physical properties of the water in which the heat and massage produce an analgesic and destructuring effect. On the other hand, there is a wide range in which the properties of the water are used in complementary techniques such as relaxing massages, pressotherapy with gel, mud baths, or body treatments aimed at well-being and skin care such as “Prepara tu piel” which includes peeling and hydration or the “Ritual Chocolate” in which chocolate therapy is the protagonist.
